Is your website?

I build mobile-friendly websites that help customers find your business, see what you offer, and get in touch. Need help with your computer or everyday tech? I handle that too.

Here's what a website actually does for you

Give customers a place to find you

Put your services, hours, location, and contact details in one place that customers can find through search or a link you share.

Help people get to know your business

Show your work, explain your services, and share genuine customer feedback so people have more information before deciding to contact you.

You get contacted on your time

People can see what you offer and reach out whenever it's convenient for them, instead of playing phone tag or waiting for you to call back.

Built for the businesses that keep the neighbourhood running

Help nearby customers understand what you offer and how to reach you.

Plumbers

Show your service area, emergency hours, and customer reviews so homeowners know when and how to contact you.

Electricians

List your licences, past work, and service area so homeowners trust you with the wiring.

Dentists

Help patients find your hours, services, and appointment information. Booking integration is available when included in your quote.

Doctors & clinics

Give patients clear info on hours, services, and how to reach you outside the waiting room.

Run a different kind of business? If people search for you nearby, this works for you too.

Websites for your business. Help with your tech.

Website design

A mobile-friendly website that shows what you do, where you work, and how customers can reach you. We'll choose the layout and features together.

Computer & tech help

Help for individuals and businesses with computer setup, email, printers, Wi-Fi, software, basic backups, and file transfers. Remote or in person, depending on what needs fixing.

Starting at $40 CAD / hour

Individuals: $40/hour. Businesses: $50/hour. One-hour minimum for all sessions, then billing in 30-minute increments.

Request tech help

Travel is included for visits within Etobicoke, Mississauga, and Toronto. Visits farther away, including Brampton, may have a travel fee agreed before booking. Websites are available to businesses anywhere.

Tech help is billed for time spent diagnosing and troubleshooting, even if a complete fix isn't possible. Parts and paid software cost extra and require your approval.

Website prices are one-time build fees. Domain renewal, paid hosting, and third-party subscriptions are separate. Optional care plans start at $30/month.

Need help with copy, a logo, or photos? I can include that in your quote. Login features and customer portals are quoted separately.

Delivery estimates start once your deposit and required content are received. Timelines are subject to change based on scope, feedback, and availability.

A little help after launch

Keep your website up to date without having to handle every change yourself. Care plans are optional.

Website care

Starting at $30 CAD / month

For basic websites, this includes a monthly check that your site loads and your contact form works, help managing hosting and deployments, and up to 30 minutes of small content edits each month.

Use your edit time to update text, replace photos, change opening hours, or adjust prices and contact details. Unused time does not roll over.

Ask about website care

A plan that fits your website

Websites with accounts, customer portals, or more complex features need a separate care quote based on the ongoing work involved.

New pages, new features, and edits beyond your allowance are quoted separately. Domain renewals and any paid hosting or third-party services are separate costs.

Prefer to manage things yourself? You can skip the care plan and request a quote whenever you need an update.

Cancel before your next billing date. Care continues through the period you've already paid for, and you keep your website files and account access.

A few things you might be wondering

What happens when I request a quote?

We'll start with an email exchange or a free 15-minute call to discuss what you need. I'll then send a written quote with the scope, price, estimated timeline, and payment terms. I usually respond within 2–3 business days.

Are the website prices fixed?

They're starting prices in Canadian dollars. Your final quote depends on the pages, features, design, and content help you need. We'll agree on the price before work begins.

How long does a website take?

Starter websites usually take 1–2 weeks, Standard 2–3 weeks, and Business+ 3–4 weeks. These estimates start once your deposit and required content are received. Timelines are subject to change based on scope, feedback, and availability. Account features and customer portals have separate estimates.

Do I need my own text, logo, and photos?

You can provide them, and I'll organise the content and lightly edit your wording. If you need more help, I can quote for writing copy, creating a simple logo, or sourcing images licensed for commercial use. You'll still need to provide accurate business information and approve the finished content.

Can you add booking or login features?

Yes. Business+ can include setup of an existing booking service. Login features and customer portals are quoted separately based on what users need to do. Any paid third-party services will be discussed before you commit.

How do website payments work?

A 50% deposit is due before work starts. The remaining 50% is due after you approve the finished preview and before launch or handover. Larger custom projects may use milestone payments. E-Transfer is preferred, with cash, PayPal, or bank transfer available by arrangement.

Do I own my website?

After full payment, you receive your completed website files and account access. Your domain is registered in your name. I retain reusable templates and components, and third-party assets remain subject to their licences.

Do I have to pay for monthly care?

No. Care is optional and starts at $30/month. You can manage the website yourself or request a separate quote for future changes. Domain renewals, paid hosting, and third-party subscriptions are separate from the build price.

What if something breaks after launch?

I include 30 days of free fixes for bugs in the work I delivered, starting at launch or handover. New content, added features, or issues caused by later changes are assessed separately.

Do you help individuals as well as businesses?

Yes. Tech help is $40/hour for individuals and $50/hour for businesses. Both remote and in-person sessions have a one-hour minimum, with additional time billed in 30-minute increments.

Where do you offer in-person tech help?

Travel is included within Etobicoke, Mississauga, and Toronto. Visits farther away, including Brampton, may have a travel fee agreed beforehand. We can try remote support first when practical.

What if my tech problem can't be fully fixed?

Tech help is billed for time spent diagnosing and troubleshooting, even if a complete fix isn't possible. I'll explain this before starting and discuss the next steps with you. Payment is due at the end of the session, and any parts or paid software require your approval.

Who's behind Kaihex?

I'm a University of Guelph graduate with a Bachelor of Computing, based in Etobicoke. I've worked on websites with clients, listened to their ideas and feedback, and helped people troubleshoot everyday tech problems. My retail experience also taught me how to explain things clearly and stay patient when something isn't working.

I started Kaihex to help small businesses get online and make technology easier for the people using it. When you get in touch, you're talking directly to the person building your website or helping with your computer.

We'll talk through what you need, agree on the work and price, and take it from there.

What can I help you with?

Tell me what you need help with, whether it's a website or a tech problem. I usually respond within 2–3 business days.

I'll use these details to respond to your request. Submissions are processed by Netlify. Please don't include passwords or other sensitive information.
